No Account Required - no account or identifying information will be required to use our platform. You’ll never be asked to create a username or give personal information. Your answers are completely anonymous.
No Notifications - we don't store identifying information and are unable to contact you.
Secure Storage - only you can access your data.
Functional Data Encryption - all data you send to us is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS protocols, and your data is securely encrypted when stored.
Data We Always Track (No Identifiable Information Attached) - we collect only the information necessary to support your use of the platform. We also collect the following data, anonymously combined, to improve support services for other survivors.
Number of logs created/total number of incidents logged (by day, week, month, year).
Responses to:
“Do you trust that you will be believed if you report?”
“Have you received medical care?”
“Have you received counseling or mental health support?”
“Have you received legal help?”
“How long ago did it happen?”
"Will you share your answers to the optional questions?”
There will be no other identifying information attached to this data, and it will only be combined anonymously.
Data We Only Track With Your Explicit Consent - if you answer ‘Yes’ and choose to share:
Your demographic information (gender, age range, race, sexual orientation, disability status, region in the U.S., and institution size and type).
Whether you told anyone about the assault.
Again, there will be no other identifying information attached to this data, and it will only be combined anonymously.
IP and Device Information - for security and operational purposes, some IP and device data may be logged temporarily by our hosting and security services. This data is handled securely and is not linked to your identity or shared externally.
Security Practices - we follow industry best practices and rely on the hardened infrastructure of our hosting providers to keep your data safe.
